Bjork has earned a reputation for presenting bizarre visuals in her music videos, and she’s definitely raising the weirdness bar for her latest, “Arisen My Senses”.
The latest video from her new album “Utopia” finds the Icelandic songstress gestating in some kind of otherworldly womb-like cocoon that, for reasons not quite clear, is somehow attached to a nearly naked man wearing thigh-high boots.
Finally, Bjork appears, sporting insect-like wings after having burst out of the cocoon as she’s bathed in orange light.
The video was directed by Bjork,DJ/producer Arca and frequent Bjork collaborator Jesse Kanda, who also designed the “Utopia” album cover.
