Zach Braff stuffed the stockings of all those “Scrubs” fans out there with a special video featuring the beloved hospital sitcom.

In the video (which Braff shared on social media) he reads an all-new scene from “Scrubs” that never appeared on the air — because it was just written by a computer.

The scene is actually one of the show’s iconic voiceover monologues intoned by his character, Dr. J.D. Dorian, and right from the get go it’s clear that something’s a bit off with the bot-written dialogue.

“The truth is every patient suffers from dementia,” reads Braff. “I’m not going to change all that. After all, the right thing’s not always the best thing to do. You’d know that if you ever worked in a hospital.”

Things quickly begin to get far more bizarre as he continues: “What is a hospital? A hospital is a lot like a high school: the most amazing man is dying, and you’re the only one who wants to steal stuff from his dad…. And even though it sucks about doctor tapioca, not even that’s sad.”

As if that’s not hilarious enough on its own, an enterprising “Scrubs” fan took things one step further by editing the monologue into actual footage from the show:
