Will Smith laughed off rumours of a possible “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” reboot during an appearance on “The Graham Norton Show”, which is set to air Friday to coincide with Netflix’s release of his latest film, “Bright”.

The 49-year-old insisted he’s too old for “Fresh Prince” now, joking: “Man, I’d have to be Uncle Phil in that one now I’m nearly 50!”

Smith added of starring in the beloved ’90s series, “It was my very first role and I was very, very focused on being successful so I learnt the whole script and everyone else’s lines.”

However, he admitted he struggles to watch “Fresh Prince” 20 years later, due to one bad habit he picked up.

Smith continued, “If you watch the first four or five episodes you can see I’m mouthing other people’s lines. It’s terrible and I can’t bear to watch it.”

The actor went on to talk about his new Netflix movie “Bright”, which he describes as “Training Day” meets “Lord of the Rings”.

Smith shared: “It’s really a fun and bizarre action movie. It takes some time to get your head around. Joel Edgerton plays an Orc and had to spend four hours a day in makeup and I’d just turn up ready to go – it made him cross.”

He jokingly added, “I felt bad taking most of the money!”

Going on to talk more about working with Netflix, Smith continued, “It’s a relief not having to rely on just one opening weekend at the box office to see if your film is a hit or not.”

“Bright” sees Smith play the role of detective Daryl Ward, who is partnered with the first Orc on the LAPD force. The pair end up going after evil Elves, played by Noomi Rapace and Edgar Ramirez.

“Bright” starts streaming on Netflix on Dec. 22.
