“Fox and Friends” was named the most influential in news media by web site Mediaite.
U.S. President Donald Trump, a vocal and unabashed supporter of the program, tweeted another love letter.

Mediaite broke down why “Fox and Friends” had so much influence in 2017. The U.S. president watches the program every morning and “then tweets about whatever they cover, and however, they cover it.”
Because other media outlets use Trump’s tweets as a well for news content, “Fox and Friends” indirectly sets the narrative for all news media.
Longtime NBC news anchor Tom Brokaw shared his thoughts about the dangers of Trump’s relationship with the program on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”.

“[Trump] watches [‘Fox and Friends’] because it reinforces what he believes,” said Brokaw. “Fox News… is on a jihad right now” against institutions of the government.
“Newt Gingrich looking into the camera and saying the FBI is a corrupt organization – three months earlier he’d said Bob Mueller is one of the great, distinguished public servants we have.”
Brokaw made a bold claim: “So, we’re at war here.”
