Anna Faris and Mexican superstar Eugenio Derbez co-star in a re-imagining of the 1987 Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn hit comedy “Overboard”.
In the original directed by the late Garry Marshall, Hawn plays a spoiled heiress who, after mocking a carpenter played by real-life hubby Russell, gets amnesia after falling off a boat. After her accident, the carpenter decides to get his revenge by pretending they are husband and wife, introducing her to a working class lifestyle.

This time around, the roles are reversed as Faris takes on the role of Kate, a carpet-cleaning single mom who gets revenge on self-absorbed billionaire Leonardo after he falls overboard his luxury yacht. Leonardo gets taken down a peg as Kate convinces him he works three jobs to support the family in this comedy of errors.
The updated comedy co-stars Eva Longoria and opens in theatres on April 20.
