Following the FBI raid on the home of Jared Fogle in connection with the arrest of the former director of his Jared Foundation, arrested for possession of child pornography, the weight-losing Subway pitchman has been ditched from the upcoming Sharknado sequel.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, SyFy has confirmed that Jared’s cameo in Sharknado: Oh Hell No will be cut before it airs on July 22. Jared previously appeared in a brief cameo in last year’s Sharknado 2: The Second One.
Even though no arrests have been made following the raid on his home, Subway has “supsended”; its relationship with its famed spokesman, who shot to fame when he lost 250 pounds by allegedly eating nothing but Subway sandwiches.
