In a new interview with People, director Rian Johnson revealed at least two of Princess Leia’s quips were written by Fisher before her untimely death. “That was her,” Johnson said of Leia’s comments about her new hairstyle to Luke Skywalker. “That was a Carrie Fisher line. Of course it was.”

Another scene involved Leia telling Lauren Dern’s character “You go, I’ve said it enough,” as the two speak over each other when attempting to utter, “May the Force be with you.”

“After an hour, I would have filled up pages and pages writing down the notes and one-liners that she would pitch,” said Johnson. “And so we tried to work them in whenever we could.”
