Standing out among the dozens and dozens of statistics published in a press release are holiday superstars such as Canadian Michael Buble and Mariah Carey.

According to Amazon, Buble’s “Christmas” album “was once again the most played album on Amazon Music during the holiday season.” Meanwhile, the distinction of most-streamed holiday song belongs to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You” for the second consecutive year.
In the world of film, Amazon Studios’ critically acclaimed “The Big Sick” was the most-watched Amazon Original movie. Holiday classic “Elf” was the service’s most-purchased holiday flick and “The Walking Dead” was the most-purchased series.

Amazon offers subscriptions to other networks, and HBO, Showtime and STARZ got a lot of traffic for current seasons of top shows “Game of Thrones”, “Shameless” and “Power”, respectively.
