A broken leg couldn’t stop Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters from going on the road to rock North America, but a severe thunderstorm managed to put the kibosh on the band’s Quebec City show last night after only four songs.
According to NME, the band defiantly performed at the Festival d’été de Québec while a storm raged, but were forced to cut their set short after about 20 minutes when organizers became concerned for the safety of the band and their fans.
The band later apologized to fans via Twitter, admitting they gave it their best shot but “Mother Nature always wins.”;
