As the world prepares to ring in 2018 Sunday night, celebrities are joining the rest of us in that time-honoured tradition of making New Year’s resolutions.

Among those celebs is Kim Kardashian, who shared her resolution for 2018 on her website and app. “My New Year’s resolution is to be on my phone less and be more in the moment,” she shared.

According to Us Weekly, Nick Jonas says his resolution is “to basically repeat my resolution from last year, which was to take more time off, go see the world, travel and have some great experiences, so that you can be inspired to get back to work.”

Meanwhile, “Fuller House” star Candace Cameron Bure says, “My New Year’s resolution is to be very picky about what I choose to say yes to. There are a lot of options and sometimes you gotta stand up and just say no.”

Melissa Joan Hart, on the other hand, shares this resolution: “My New Year’s resolution is probably going to be to put down my phone more and pay attention to my boys.”

While Meghan Markle hasn’t offered up her resolutions for 2018, she has admitted that her resolutions are usually the same each year, and back in 2016 she shared her resolutions for the new year on her now-defunct blog.

“Run a marathon,” she wrote (via Just Jared). “Stop biting my nails. Stop swearing. Re-learn French. These make my New Year’s resolution list nearly (AKA actually every) single year…The marathon hasn’t happened. The swearing comes in lulls triggered by being overworked or feeling mighty cheeky after a couple drinks.”

She added: “Then there’s the French — a language I studied through high school and then lost as I immersed myself in speaking Spanish with the Argentinians during my stint in Buenos Aires. I have put my little Rosetta Stone headset in my eager ears every year, resolving to do interviews en français, but much to my chagrin, it hasn’t stuck.”

As for the nail biting, she wrote that “it still happens with a turbulent flight or a stressful day. It’s unladylike. But then again, so is the swearing. Dammit.”
