Drake Takes To The Stage As Snapchat’s Evan Spiegel Kicks Off 2018 With Huge $4 Million Party

By Becca Longmire.

Snapchat employees were given the ultimate New Year’s Eve surprise as they were treated to an epic performance from Drake at a lavish bash thrown by CEO Evan Spiegel Sunday night.

The team kicked off 2018 in the best way possible, as they partied the night away at the huge event, which reportedly cost a whopping $4 million.

Drake could be seen performing some of his biggest hits in videos posted on social media, with an array of lucky attendees also taking to Twitter to gush over the party.

The bash came after TMZ reported over the weekend that Spiegel was shutting down major parts of Los Angeles to throw the soirée.

Despite Snapchat refusing to comment on Drake’s appearance at the time, the company did say: “We’re excited to celebrate a transformative year as a team. Evan is personally sponsoring the night’s performance.”
