The “Orange Is The New Black”; actress, Laverne Cox, was a guest on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live”; when she was asked about Kylie Jenner and Amandla Stenberg’s Instagram Feud.
The show’s host, Andy Cohen, asked the actress, and former Vogue Editor Andre Leon Talley, to comment on the feud saying,”;White girls with cornrows, yay or nay?”;
That’s when the “Musical Chairs”; actress, avoided the question which then led people to call out Cox and Talley for not “defending’ Stenberg.

In a detailed Tumblr post, Cox explains her reasoning for her silence during the show saying, “I said what I said in an attempt to not get involved in what I understood at the time to be an Instagram feud between someone with whom I was not familiar and Kylie Jenner on the topic of cultural appropriation,”; Cox explains. “I have never been interested in getting involved in any celebrity feuds.”;
The LGBT advocate also comments on Stenberg’s recent video, where she speaks on culture appropriation.
“I was most moved by the question she poses at the end of her video, a question I, too, have asked from lecture stages. “What would America be like if we loved black people as much as we love black culture?” Cox says in her post.
Cox did not apologize for not weighing in on the topic, but simply says she needed more than “10 seconds”; to correctly respond.
