Lindsey Vonn found herself unwittingly taking the brunt of the joke during last night’s ESPYs when cameras zoomed in on her reaction after a Tiger Woods joke — that didn’t even mention her.
“Many are calling Jordan Spieth the new Tiger Woods,”; joked ESPYs host Joel McHale of the 21-year-old golf phenom, currently ranked #2 in the world. “Which is great news for golf and terrible news for the future Mrs. Jordan Spieth.”;
The award show audience and viewers at home immediately saw Vonn in the audience as the camera zoomed in on her, causing the audience to laugh nervously amidst sympathetic groans.
Lindsey, ever the good sport, goofed around by making some sad faces for the camera, giving the crowd something to cheer for.
“Is, uh, Lindsey behind me right now?”; McHale asked from onstage, referring to the screen behind him. “She wasn’t married to him! Is she mad?”; Watch:
