For many actors, working with Woody Allen is viewed as a badge of honour.

Following a series of scathing tweets from Ellen Pompeo, however, it’s a pretty safe bet the “Grey’s Anatomy” star is not among them.

In her tweets, Pompeo, 48, references Washington Post article delving into Allen’s personal archives — which uncovered what the writer believes to an ongoing obsession with young (under 18) females.

In response, Pompeo offered her opinion on the acclaimed director of such films as “Annie Hall” and “Hannah and Her Sisters”, and also questions the scarcity of people of colour within the Oscar-winner’s films.

“I haven’t gone through his personal journals and I knew that…” wrote Pompeo on Twitter, adding she was “shocked the people that work with this man.”

She also noted that she was “fired up” about the subject, and asked “has this fool ever put one [person of colour] in any of his movies ever?”

This isn’t the first time that Pompeo has blasted the 82-year-old comedian/writer/director on social media. Just last month, she tweeted a link to a Hollywood Reporter article titled “Why I Will Never Watch A Woody Allen Film Again”, writing: “Also never really understood the thirst of women who work with him and consider it an achievement it’s so confusing.”
