Kelly Clarkson Reflects On Meeting Meryl Streep At The Golden Globes

Kelly Clarkson is already having the best time at this year’s Golden Globe Awards.

The “American Idol” alum was chatting with Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet when she spotted her idol, Meryl Streep.

Naturally, Clarkson had the best reaction, “Oh my God, it’s Meryl,” she kept repeating before yelling, “I’m such a huge fan! Can I meet you?”

Reflecting on the moment, Clarkson is pretty confident Streep had no idea who she was. “I don’t even think she knew who I was,” the singer said on Tuesday during NBC’s winter press day. “Then I felt horrible with Michelle Williams and the other women standing there. I was like, ‘I love y’all too!'”

Clarkson is the ultimate super-fan.
