Duchess Kate Shares Portraits Of Princess Charlotte On First Day Of Nursery School

By Becca Longmire.

Kate Middleton and Prince William shared two adorable snaps of Princess Charlotte on Monday morning before she left for her first day at Willcocks Nursery School.

The 2-year-old beamed for the camera as she posed for her mum on the steps outside Kensington Palace, wrapped up in a cute red Razorbil wool coat by Amaia teamed with brown tights and a pink scarf matching her backpack by Cath Kidston.

The youngster, whose hair was partly tied back with a scarlet ribbon, stood up against the railing for one sweet photo, before she sat down for a second equally-as-cute pic.

Charlotte will be a full-time pupil at the nursery, which is thought to charge fees of just over $5,000 (CAD) a term for children who attend Monday to Friday.

The school said of Charlotte last month: “We are delighted that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen the Willcocks Nursery School for Princess Charlotte. We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January.”

The Duke and Duchess shared their last family snap mid-December, which saw them posing with Charlotte and her 4-year-old brother, Prince George, for their annual Christmas card photo.
