A 21-year-old man was found dead at the bottom of the swimming pool at Demi Moore’s Los Angeles home this morning, reports TMZ.
Law-enforcement officials tell TMZ the man appears to have drowned, following the discovery of his body at the bottom of the pool early Sunday morning.
According to the L.A. Daily News, Coroner’s Lt. Fred Corral confirms that a technician from the Coroner’s Office was dispatched to the scene at 6:55 a.m.
In addition, an officer at the LAPD’s West Los Angeles station confirmed to the News that the department is “conducting an investigation into the man’s death,”; adding that Demi “was not at home and not involved in the man’s death.”;
“We’re told there was a party at the house,”; claims TMZ, also reporting that “Demi was not there … she’s currently out of town. A law enforcement source tells us none of Demi’s family was present.”;
However, a neighbour tells TMZ a slightly different story, claiming that Demi’s kids have been staying at the house during the past few weeks while she’s away, and there have been “parties every day, day and night,”; which she says frequently take place around the pool.
Police do not suspect foul play; the investigation is said to be ongoing as this story develops.
