Sorry, friends! news of a #Xena reboot is just a rumor. I’d love it to happen one day but it’s still in the wishful thinking stage.

After 20 years the Warrior Princess Xena could be returning to television.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the “Hercules”; spin-off is in its early stages as Producers NBC and NBC Universal International look for a writer to get the reboot in action.
Original producers of the show, Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi, are a part of the project while insiders hope the Xena actress, Lucy Lawless, will have a role on camera and off.
This new generation of the series is looking for a sophisticated, smart new superhero.
During Comic-Con, Lawless spoke with HitFix saying she has been pitching the reboot for some time.
“I don’t know what the hold-up is; it’s about who has got the rights,”; she says in the video. “But that’s a piss-poor excuse anymore. Find who has got the rights, freakin’ pay it. It’s better to have 80 percent of something than 100 percent of nothing.”;
“Xena: Warrior Princess”; ran for six seasons from September 1995 to June 2001.
