Lindsay Lohan is attempting a career comeback — not just as a movie and TV star but as a tropical island destination.

The 31-year-old actress has announced plans to design an island in Dubai, appropriately titled Lohan Island, a name that she described as “out-Trumping Trump.”

The “Mean Girls” star revealed the news during an appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show”, which aired Friday. In the interview, Lohan tells Wendy that her personal peninsula will be part of The World Islands, an artificial archipelago off the coast of Dubai.

“I’m discussing designing an island in Dubai,” Lindsay said. “I have a lot of little projects there because I like to keep busy. So, when I’m finished filming ‘Sick Note’ I can go back to Dubai, start the lipstick, discuss that and then design this island – Lohan Island.”

Last year, Lohan signed on to the second season of the British sitcom “Sick Note,” which also stars “Harry Potter” actor Rupert Grint. But that is just one of many projects the formerly troubled actress has in the pipeline.

“I have my club too in Athens, and then we’re opening one in Mykonos,” Lohan told Williams, referring to her nightclub enterprise Lohan Nightclub – her business names being nothing but consistent.

She joked: “I figured I’ve gone to enough; I should have my own!”

Williams wondered if owning a nightclub was a wise idea for someone who has a history of problems with alcohol and substance abuse. “Wouldn’t that be the worst place for a clean person to have?” she asked.

“No, actually. It’s really fun to watch other people look ridiculous,” Lohan replied.

Earlier in the show Williams touched upon Lohan’s drug addled past, recalling a previous meeting between the pair at a taping of “American Idol.” The talk show host insinuated that Lohan kept diseappearing off set because of drug issues. However, Lohan swore, “No, it wasn’t because of that.”

Lohan’s problems with drink and drugs are well-documented, with her numerous arrests gaining her public notoriety throughout the 00s. Williams asked the “Freaky Friday” actress is she felt her father was to blame for her troubles.

“I don’t know. I think everybody has their own path in life. We all go through ups and downs in life,” Lohan answered. “Being in public, a lot of pressure was on a lot. I didn’t know how to have a private life because I was too young, running around too much and surrounding myself with people I probably shouldn’t have been around, there for the lifestyle. I wouldn’t blame anyone for anything in my life.”

Moving on, Williams also questioned Lohan about her love life, asking directly whether she considers herself “sexually fluid.”

“No, I like men,” Lohan replied. When Williams brought up her past relationship with English DJ Samantha Ronson, Lohan laughed, and said, “I was living in LA. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, but no, I’m not dating right now.”

She continued: “I don’t have a man. I don’t want to date anyone right now. I’m in work mode, I like it.”

Lohan is set to make her movie comeback later this year in the horror film “The Shadow Within,” in which she plays a werewolf private investigator.
