‘Stranger Things’ Star Finn Wolfhard And Band Cover Velvet Underground At Brooklyn Show

Finn Wolfhard and his pals did a pretty amazing job of protecting Hawkins, Indiana, from the extra-dimensional threats from the Upside Down, but the 15-year-old “Stranger Things” star also demonstrated his abilities as an aspiring rock star when he and his band, Calpurnia, took to the stage at Brooklyn’ Brooklyn’s Rough Trade NYC on Friday night.

As Rolling Stone reports, Wolfhard and Calpurnia performed a mix of cover tunes and some originals off the band’s upcoming EP during their show at the club.

Among the covers was the Lou Reed classic from his Velvet Underground days, “Here She Comes Now” from the “White Light/White Heat” album.

“This song goes out to Lou Reed… and Hulk Hogan,” Vancouver native Wolfhard quipped before launching into the song.

You can watch the enthusiastic performance in the video above.
