Sam Rockwell Drops F-Bomb During ‘SNL’ Sketch

Viewers got more than they bargained for during a “Saturday Night Live” sketch featuring host Sam Rockwell as Mr. Science, an old-school PBS kids’ show host from the ’90s.

Unfortunately, Mr. Science isn’t particularly good at dealing with children, and the sketch sees him become increasingly frustrated by a pair of junior scientists (Cecily Strong and Mikey Day) who had a tough time remembering any scientific info.

As Mr. Science quizzes the kids, his anger mounts until he asks the pair a true-and-false question, to which they answer: “True and false.”

This sends Mr. Science to whole new levels of frustration. “You can’t be this f**king stupid!” he says, with Rockwell accidentally letting an F-bomb slip out on live television.

“Saturday Night Live” airs Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. PT/11:30 p.m. ET on Global; you can also watch full episodes online. “SNL” returns with a new episode on Saturday, Jan. 20, featuring host Jessica Chastain and musical guest Troye Sivan.

Viewers who caught Rockwell’s “whoops!” moment quickly took to Twitter to share their glee.
