UPDATE: Friday, July 24 (12:08 p.m. ET): Nicki Minaj appeared on Good Morning America today and reiterated that she and Taylor Swift have absolutely no bad blood to speak of.

“We spoke for a long time. We were cracking up laughing on the phone. It’s over you guys,”; shared the “Starships”; megastar.

Nicki told the ABC morning show that she brought up the MTV VMA Video of the Year snub online because she felt “Anaconda”; was being unfairly overlooked.

“I posted something on my Instagram and it just showed the stats of other videos that had been nominated previously and there just seemed to be a little funny business going on,”; she told Lara Spencer. “Anaconda’ had such a huge cultural impact and, on top of that, we broke the Vevo record…,”; she said. “I do think if it was one of the pop girls, there would have many nominations for it.”;

Nicki says she wants the media to offer up better representation of the different body types women possess.

“I think that we just have to have both images for girls,”; she said. “We can’t have only one type of body being glorified in the media because it just makes girls even more insecure than we already are.”;

When asked if she’d be interested in working with Taylor in the future, the response was definitely positive.

“I’m sure we can,”; Minaj said. “You know why, because it takes a big person to do what Taylor did.”;

UPDATE: Thursday, July 23 (12:47 p.m. ET): Taylor Swift has offered up an apology to Nicki Minaj.

“I thought I was being called out.”; wrote Taylor on Twitter. “I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I’m sorry, Nicki. @NICKIMINAJ”;

The “Right Thru Me”; rapper, Nicki Minaj, is not very happy with this year’s MTV VMA nominations.

The 32-year-old takes to Twitter hours after the nominations were revealed expressing her frustration with “Anaconda”; not getting a nomination for Best Choreography or Video Of The Year.

Minaj’s three nominations this year were for Best Collaboration, “Bang Bang”;, Best Hip Hop Video, “Anaconda”, and Best Female Video, “Anaconda”. Minaj was not shy with her number of tweets. One saying, “Hey guys @MTV thank you for my nominations. Did Feeling Myself miss the deadline or…?”;
