After seven years of dating, Darren Criss has popped the question to longtime girlfriend Mia Swier, announcing the couple’s engagement in a sweet Instagram post.
“Mia and I have had seven and a half years of fun, wacky, wonderful, CRAZY adventures together,” writes the “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” star.
“And I’m happy to announce that we’re kicking those adventures up a notch. We’re goin for it,” he adds, throwing in a couple of “Star Trek” references. “To boldly go where neither of us have gone before. Engage.”
The announcement of Criss’ engagement comes on the heels of what’s already becoming a big year for the former “Glee” star, who can currently be seen playing Andrew Cunanan — who murdered the famed fashion designer — in the new season of FX’s “American Crime Story”.
