A new video featuring SZA, Canada’s own William Prince and several other musical artists is encouraging everyone to make 2018 the year to “Start Something Priceless.”

An initiative of Mastercard, the video — which features seven artists from throughout the world performing “You Can’t Judge A Book” — includes Prince, a storytelling singer and songwriter from Peguis First Nation, and SZA representing Canada and the U.S., respectively.

“’Start Something Priceless’ is a call to action at a time when people expect actions, not just ads, from brands,” said Raja Rajamannar, chief marketing and communications officer at Mastercard. “This is a time when people truly believe in their own power to fuel change, and whether big or small, an action has the ability to make the world a better place. That movement is what we aim to unleash this year.”

He continued: “Every day at Mastercard we work to make a difference in communities across the world, whether that’s reversing the cycle of poverty with the World Food Programme, donating to Stand Up To Cancer to give more people support in their fight, or bringing young girls into our family to inspire and prepare for a career in STEM.”

According to Mastercard’s announcement, the #StartSomethingPriceless movement — launched on Monday — encourages people to “share their pledges to pursue a passion or purpose, effect change, and lift one another up.”
