If there was any doubt that Luke Perry has long since moved on from his breakout role on Beverly Hills, 90210, the actor made it pretty definitive when he was asked about his former show at the Television Critics Association press tour, reports Us Weekly.

“What do you think about Lifetime doing the tell-all?”; a reporter asked Perry, referencing the upcoming unauthorized made-for-TV movie.

“I don’t think about it,”; he replied.

“You must have some thoughts?”; the reporter continued.

Apparently he doesn’t. “No,”; he stated.

Another journalist came at the question from a different angle. “Why do you think there’s still a fascination? It’s been a few years since that show went off the air.”;

“Yeah,”; replied Perry. “I had really cool hair.”;

“Why are you so disconnected from that?”; continued the question. “Why does it not matter to you?”;

“Third grade,”; was Perry’s answer. “How much does that matter to you? Exactly. It’s just not relevant to anything I’m doing. Next question?”;

Later, Perry told Us Weekly that he didn’t think the 90210 questions were relevant given that he was there to promote a new project, but admitted he’s always happy to talk about the show with fans.

“When it’s between two people, right?”; he said. “And it’s you and I, we’re having a talk about it, that’s great and that’s never lost on me. It’s always very flattering and I like it. When I meet somebody and I can see that they appreciated the work and they want to talk about the show, I’m always happy to do that.”;

And when it comes to watching his live dramatized in Lifetime’s tell-all movie? “I don’t even watch my own actual self on TV,”; he quipped. “Why would I want to watch this? I don’t see it happening.”;
