Melania Trump Looks For Love As ‘Bachelor’ Contestant In ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ Parody

By Shakiel Mahjouri.

Donald Trump may have gone from “The Apprentice” to the White House, but his wife Melania Trump is moving the other direction.

The team at “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” cut together a hilarious spoof of Melania vying for the heart of “Bachelor” Arie Luyendyk Jr.

Kimmel introduced the segment on Tuesday night’s episode of his late-night talk show. The spoof uses lower-third keys and suggestive sequencing to create a narrative where Melania opens up about her affection towards Luyendyk Jr.

“We have a great relationship and I think that’s very important,” said Melania. “I don’t want to change him, he doesn’t want to change me.”

Perhaps most impressively, the editing team even managed to work Mrs. Trump into a rose ceremony alongside real “Bachelor” contestants. And despite not being handed a rose, Melania kept her composure… mostly: “Don’t feel sorry for me, I can handle anything.”

Kimmel’s montage was inspired by news that Melania cancelled plans to join her husband on an upcoming trip to Switzerland. The cancellation follows, but is not definitively related to, reports the U.S. president had an affair with porn star Stormy Daniels in 2006.
