Live performances are not the only thing Demi Lovato is giving fans who attend her upcoming tour.
The singer will offer Tell Me You Love Me tour ticket holders free therapy sessions, including inspirational speeches, group therapy sessions, and wellness workshops led by CAST wellness centres.
“It’s basically like a therapy session before the concerts and we have speakers from all over and we’re also helping out with different charities from around the country,” Lovato recently told “Good Morning America”. “So it’ll be an incredible, very moving and inspiring experience.”
Adding, “I’ve actually met people that go to CAST because they went to CAST on tours and realized they needed to get sober or they needed to better themselves in some other way and it’s changed lives and I want to be able to do that again. It’s a part of my whole… life, about giving back and I think it’s really important that I continue to do this while I’m on tour.”
CAST elaborated on the services they will offer in a statement obtained by ET Canada: “With CAST on Tour’s mission is to make mental health and addiction recovery mainstream and erasing the stigma around asking for help.”
“Each show will feature special guest speakers leading discussions about their personal journeys to achieve their best lives, in addition to group discussions on wellness,” the group explained. “Prior to each show, concert ticketholders will have the chance to sign up for free, intimate sessions around mental health and wellness.”
Lovato’s North American tour includes stops in Montreal and Toronto, on March 17 and 19 respectively, and will feature supporting acts DJ Khaled and Kehlani.
