Logan Paul Returns To YouTube Following Controversy

By Aynslee Darmon.

YouTube personality Logan Paul has made his return to the video platform after the controversy surrounding a video – shot and posted by Paul – that showed the body of a man who appeared to have recently committed suicide.

Paul has spent the last few weeks “reflecting” on the backlash and meeting with people who live with depression to learn about the struggle of mental illness and suicide.

In the video, shot in a documentary style, we see Paul confront his mistake while attempting to teach viewers about this serious issue.

Both Paul and YouTube have apologized for the original video. Paul said “so sorry” in a Twitter video posted Jan. 2.

YouTube Tweeted an open letter, writing, “Suicide is not a joke, nor should it ever be a driving force for views.”
