An unlikely duo, Sting and Shaggy are joining forces for a new Caribbean-influenced album, “44/876”.
The Police frontman and the Jamaican-American dancehall-reggae singer have been crafting the new record for the last few months.

“The most important thing to me in any kind of music is a surprise,” Sting told Rolling Stone of the music.
Adding, “Everybody is surprised by this collaboration – by what they’re hearing. We’re surprising.”
The catchy first single “Don’t Make Me Wait” has fans excited to see what comes next.

This isn’t the first time the pair have collaborated. In 2011 Shaggy released a compilation album called “Shaggy And Friends” and Sting lent his vocals on the track “Everything You Need”.
“44/876” is available April 20.
