The build-up to Marvel Studio’s epic “Avengers: Infinity War” movie has showcased just about every Marvel Cinematic movie character, but there is at least one notable exception.
Canadian actress Emily VanCamp’s “Captain America” character Sharon Carter has been noticeably absent from the film’s promotion. VanCamp, 31, addressed the situation while promoting her new TV show “The Resident” at AOL’s BUILD series.

Host Cole Delbyck asked, “’Avengers: Infinity War’ has pretty much everyone, but you’re not attached?”
“Listen, it’s hard to fit Sharon into that,” said VanCamp. “She’s really in Cap’s world. I mean, I can’t say anything about anything, but I will say that. She sort of fits into the ‘Captain America’ movies; that’s where her sort of story lies. But I can tell you it’s going to be like an epic two-parter. From everything that I hear, it’s going to be amazing.”

Agent Sharon Carter is Captain America’s seeming love interest in the movie series and VanCamp played a significant role in “Captain America: Civil War”.
“Avengers: Infinity War” will premiere May 3, 2019.
