Kristen Stewart Insists: ‘You’d Think I Was Cool If You Got To Know Me’

Kristen Stewart is an edgy and moody beauty as she covers the September issue of Elle UK.

There was no better choice for the fall editorial, as Stewart is a natural fit for the bold shapes, cuts and colours of the season.

In the accompanying interview, Juliette Lewis gets candid with her close and misunderstood friend about her public persona. The 25-year-old opened up to the mag about her misunderstood image, insisting that she’s a happy and kind-hearted person. “The whole smiling thing is weird because I actually smile a lot,” she says. “I literally want to be like, “Dude, you would think I was cool if you got to know me.'”;

And unlike many of her fellow actresses, Stewart has chosen not to share snapshots of her life on social media, further magnifying her unapproachable image. “I’m not anti-social media. I just haven’t decided to do it,”; she explains. “The idea of addressing such a massive group… If I don’t know who I’m talking to it doesn’t make any f**king sense to me.”
