Woman Describes That Moment Running Into Beyonce And Jay-Z: ‘No One Is Going To Believe Me’

It’s not every day you come face-to-face with Beyonce and Jay-Z, so it’s no surprise this woman looked a little bit shocked as the showbiz pair walked past her on Saturday night.

The lady’s hilarious, and totally relatable, reaction went viral as her stunned face became the subject of numerous memes on Twitter.

She could be seen with her mouth wide open as the A-list couple grinned while making their way down the corridor of a New York hotel, with Beyonce looking as stunning as ever in an all-black ensemble.

Jay-Z, on the other hand, looked incredibly dapper in a grey suit, white shirt and black bow tie.

The rapper had been hosting his annual Roc Nation pre-Grammys brunch, before he headed to the star-studded pre-Grammy Gala with his other half on his arm, and Beyonce made sure to share an array of snaps from their eventful weekend.

Despite many social media users pointing out that Bey could have easily cropped the woman in question out of the incredible shot, the majority loved that she’d kept her in.

One person posted: “When you realize you’re lucky to be alive during the same era as Beyonce,” as another joked Beyonce shared the snap to show “how peasants look at her.”

The woman, now identified as Susan Monaghan, sat down with the Boston Globe to recall her moment with Queen Bey.

“I was like, ‘Oh, my God!’” Monaghan said about the encounter. “I looked at her and all I could think was, ‘No one is going to believe me. No one is going to believe me.’”

Monaghan was visiting New York City for her granddaughter’s gymnastics competition, but on Saturday night she got caught up with the famous couple.

After noticing a heap of photographers entering her hotel’s lobby, Monaghan rushed to get out of the way, only to later find herself a viral sensation.

But of that hilarious photo, Monaghan believes Beyonce posted it for a reason. “I think she posted it for me,” she joked. “So people would believe me.”

Bey and Jay-Z attended Sunday night’s Grammys with their six-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, while seven-month-old twins Rumi and Sir stayed at home.

Blue Ivy also sparked an online meltdown as she was caught on camera telling her famous parents not to clap so hard. Watch the hilarious clip below:
