DJ Fired Over Taylor Swift’s Groping Allegations Lands Another Radio Job, Twitter Reacts

Radio DJ David Mueller — who was accused by Taylor Swift of groping her butt during a meet-and-greet — just landed another radio gig.

According to the Daily News, Mueller (who used the on-air persona “Jackson”) will co-host a new show called “Jackson and Jonbob” as “Stonewall Jackson” on 92.7 KIX in Mississippi.

Larry Fuss, the CEO of Delta Radio, explained his reasoning for hiring Mueller to the publication. “I sat down with him face-to-face in Minneapolis before I offered him the job and talked to him about it. He’s either the world’s best liar, or he’s telling the truth. I tend to believe his version of the story and most people who have talked to him face-to-face do believe his version of the story.”

Last year, Swift accused Mueller of reaching under her skirt while posing for a photo in 2013. After Mueller was fired from his radio job, he sued the “Ready For It” singer for $3 million, claiming her accusations were false and caused him to lose his job at a Denver radio station.

Swift famously countersued for assault and battery; in August 2017, a jury sided with Swift, and forced Mueller to pay her a symbolic $1.

The rest of the world, it seems, still side with Swift, and responded to the DJ’s new appointment with anger and disappointment on Twitter.
