Drake Surpasses Jay-Z As Rapper With Most Top 10s On Hot 100

Drake “Started From the Bottom” but now he is a record-breaking hip-hop artist.

The Canadian rapper has officially outworked Jay-Z to earn the most top-10 songs of any rapper on the Hot 100. Drizzy’s two-song EP Scary Hours produced the chart-topping song “God’s Plan” and the #7 track “Diplomatic Immunity”.

The Scary Hours songs earned the 31-year-old a grand total of 22 top-ten songs, the most of any rapper since Jay-Z’s 21.

Drake also earned the distinction of being the only act in history to have twice debuted two songs in the chart’s top 10 simultaneously, a feat he first achieved in April 2017.

Among acts across all genres, Drizzy now ties Taylor Swift at 13th place for the artist with the most Hot 100 top-10 songs. Madonna leads the list with 38.
