Kathy Griffin Talks Decapitated Donald Trump Photo, Says ‘As A Woman You Get One F**k-Up And It’s Over’

It’s been eight months since Kathy Griffin shared the incendiary Donald Trump picture that derailed her career and she’s now spoken out about the whole thing in a candid interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

The 57-year-old, who sparked outrage worldwide after being pictured holding Trump’s fake severed bloody head, has spent months holed up in her Bel Air mansion after being fired from CNN’s New Year’s Eve program and having pretty much the rest of her Celebrity Run-Ins Tour cancelled.

She’s also been terrorized by Trump supporters and investigated by the Secret Service. However, Griffin still insists “I didn’t commit a crime.”

The comedienne explained in her THR interview that as a woman you can’t afford to mess up. “I didn’t rape anybody. I didn’t assault anybody. I didn’t get a DUI. I mean, my God, there are celebrities that f**king kill people.”

Griffin also said she was set to host a dinner party for Melanie Griffith, Rita Wilson, and Kris Jenner the night the photo was unveiled.

She recalled: “I wondered, Should I cancel the dinner? And then I thought, No, these are three women who could probably give me good advice. We sat at the table and talked about it. We hashed out options, and they were trying to make me feel good — getting the laughs going because I was so freaked out.”

Griffin added that people were telling her to “go away for five years,” so she hit back: “I was like, ‘I’ll tell you what: You go away for five years.’”

Last year also saw Griffin accuse Andy Cohen, 49, of offering her cocaine before appearances on “Watch What Happens Live” — something he has since denied.

However, Griffin insisted: “When you’re a woman, you get one f**k-up, and it’s over. When you’re a guy, you get chance after chance after chance.”

Griffin had kicked off on social media after Cohen, who replaced her on CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live”, pretended he didn’t know who she was.

She then said via a YouTube video: “Both times I did the show, right before we went live, Andy Cohen privately asked me in an office if I wanted to do blow. I’ve never had a drink in my life. You guys know I’m no prude, but I’m kind of like a straight-edge.”
