Prince Charles and Camilla stopped by British talk show “This Morning” to help celebrate the program’s 30th anniversary, but an adorable dog stole the show.

His Royal Highness and The Duchess of Cornwall sat in on a number of activities on Wednesday’s episode, which included an interview, a cooking segment where the pair helped prepare a mutton hot pot with honeyed parsnips, and finished off their visit with a meet-and-greet with the studio’s assistance dog-in-training, Digby.

Digby, an adorable yellow lab, took over the segment when he decided to use a production microphone as a chew toy.

But Prince Charles was quick on his feet and saved the day. After having a little fun with Digby, Charles quickly reached down and rescued the mic for the crew.

“This Morning” was the royal couple’s second stop on a busy day. They began their morning with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid from “Good Morning Britain”.
