Shalita Grant Exiting ‘NCIS: New Orleans’: Mutual Decision, Says Manager

Fans of “NCIS: New Orleans” will be bidding farewell to team member Sonja Percy when star Shalita Grant exits the hit spinoff later this season.

According to Variety, the decision for the actor’s exit was amicable, and was mutually agreed upon by Grant and producers.

The character, a former ATF agent, first appeared in a recurring capacity in the first season of “NCIS: New Orleans” — airing Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on Global — but Grant was bumped up to a series regular in season 2.
