Justin Timberlake doesn’t see a future for his son in the NFL.
The former ‘N Sync lead singer did a press conference Thursday ahead of his big Super Bowl halftime show this weekend and fielded questions on everything from possible guests onstage, his Tom Brady hair inspirations, to whether his son might follow in his footsteps as a musician.
“I’d rather not think about it because he’s about to turn 3,” Timberlake said of the possibility. “But [Silas] did come to rehearsals yesterday and I was shocked at how quickly he could cover 100 yards.”
Asked if that meant he would support Silas trying to get into the NFL, Timberlake joked, “He will never play football.
“My main objective is that he become a great person,” Timberlake added, “and if he wants to get into the arts or sports then, yeah, I would fully support that.”
