Though it appeared that James Corden’s parents hated their 2018 Grammy Awards experience, a new video reveals just how much fun the couple really had.
Hours before taking their seats at Madison Square Garden, James Corden’s parents, Malcolm and Margaret, took over the Grammys red carpet.
In a clip that premiered Thursday night, the unlikely red carpet correspondents interviewed Maren Morris, Cardi B, and even rapped with Daddy Yankee.
Backstage the saxophone-playing Malcolm serenaded U2’s Bono and The Edge before heading back out to interview other stars, such as Camila Cabello, Rick Ross “The Boss”, Common, and Logic.
The pair received warm welcomes from John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Shaggy, and Sting, who warned they had “a lot to answer for.”
But among their red carpet antics were some serious moments, including a prayer with “Pray” singer Sam Smith in honour of their son.
