Rose McGowan Tells Ronan Farrow Of ‘Very Famous’ Hollywood Predator Who Had Sex With Her When She Was 15

Rose McGowan continues to make headlines after her shocking allegations that Harvey Weinstein raped her in 1997 — which Weinstein has continually denied.

The former “Charmed” star sat down for an interview with Ronan Farrow for The Hollywood Reporter, and shared another allegation about a different man, alleging the “prominent” and “very famous” Hollywood figure had sex with her when she was just 15 years old.

Farrow — who was instrumental in helping to break the story about Weinstein — told McGowan that he knows the identity of the man she’s accusing, and asked if she was ready to name him publicly.

“In general? Sure,” she said. “Right now at this moment? I’ve had a big day.”

Telling Farrow that identifying the person in question is a “timing thing,” McGowan added that it only recently became apparent to her that what she had always thought of as a consensual sexual encounter was actually molestation.

“This man picked me up when I was 15 years old,” she said. “He took me home after he met me and he showed me a soft porn movie he had made for Showtime, under a different name. And then he had sex with me.”

When it was over, she said, he left her standing on a street corner. “In my mind, playing it back, I had been attracted to him, so I always filed it away as a sexual experience.”

As McGowan explained, it wasn’t until about two weeks after the New York Times broke the Weinstein story that she began seeing that encounter in a whole new light. “That creep did this to a 15-year-old,” she said. “It was not until two weeks after your story broke — our story, our world’s story — that I was in bed and I started saying, ‘Oh my god. I think that’s molestation.'”
