Jimmy Fallon is heading into Super Bowl Sunday on a full stomach.
The “Tonight Show” star surprised one lucky family in Minnesota by arriving on their doorstep for dinner. In late January, Fallon tweeted, “I’m coming to Minnesota and I really want a home-cooked meal! Who wants to host me?”
Fallon, 43, surprised the Salzer family with a camera crew and a bottle of wine in hand. “We got over 15,000 emails and special recipes,” said the late-night host of the response to his little contest.
The “Saturday Night Live” alum posted a sweet video of the Salzer family’s thrilled reaction to his surprise drop-in.
“Thank you to the Salzer family in Champlin, MN for the best tater tot hot dish in town,” Fallon tweeted after the visit. “You made me feel so welcome.”
