The members of Paramore have clearly spent some time watching bad local TV morning shows, and channeled their television trauma into the video for THE band’s latest single, “Rose-Colored Boy”.
In the just-released video (above), band members Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro are the news team at an imaginary morning show called “Wake Up! Roseville”, where they bring viewers weather reports, cooking segments, info on local bake sales and even an interview with a “happiness guru.”
While the video begins with a silly, over-the-top tone, a darkness emerges that brings in some serious issues, especially when Williams confronts a younger version of herself and has an epiphany.
The track is the fifth single from Paramore’s latest album, “After Laughter”, with the video produced by Warren Fu.
