A hilarious video of Tom Hardy reciting lines from “The Dark Knight Rises” to his extremely unimpressed dog has resurfaced online.

Hardy, 40, can be seen covering his mouth with a man’s jock in the random clip while reading lines from his performance as Bane in the 2012 flick.

Unsurprisingly, given the bizarre circumstances, Hardy’s poor pooch doesn’t seem to have a clue what’s going on as the actor cuts the camera to his beloved pet at one point.

Hardy says: “Oh, you think darkness is your ally. But you merely adopted the dark; I was born in it, moulded by it.

“I didn’t see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding.”

Unsurprisingly, the Twittersphere didn’t take long to respond to the unearthed clip, with many calling the whole thing hilarious, while one shared: “That dog’s face at the end… ‘I have to put up with this constantly.'”

The clip is thought to have first been posted back in 2016 but has recently been doing the rounds on Twitter once again.

It appears to include his beloved dog Woody, who sadly died last June. The actor had rescued him from the roadside as a stray puppy and the pair were inseparable, with Hardy often taking his pet to film premieres and events.
