According to rumours back in the day, certain cast members contributed plenty of offscreen drama to “Beverly Hills, 90210” — and that also proved to be the case for its reboot, “90210”, which aired from 2008 until 2013 on The CW.
So revealed “90210” star AnnaLynne McCord during a Tuesday appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show”, telling the host that she and co-star Shenae Grimes had a volatile relationship throughout the series’ five-season run.
“Shenae and I, who played Annie, we were at each other’s throats for five years,” said McCord, “and the day before we wrapped, Shenae calls me and was like, ‘Hey… I can’t believe it’s over.’ I’m like, ‘Bitch?!'”
As McCord recalled, she probably had a lot to do with the friction with her Toronto-born castmate. “I just was removed from everything,” she told Williams. “I had social anxiety and I didn’t know it so it makes you seem like a real, little piece of work.”
It wasn’t until the show was about to end that McCord and Grimes finally buried the hatchet — and actually became friends.
