“The X-Files” star is featured in the latest ad for PETA’s “I would rather go naked than wear fur” campaign against the cruel treatment of animals by the fashion industry.

In the ad, which will be used on a giant 70-foot billboard above Penn Station during New York Fashion Week later this month, Anderson poses nude wearing only a cat-ears headband.

“I found it liberating to use my body to make an important statement,” Anderson told Entertainment Weekly. “People tend to look away from anti-fur ads showing mangled animals, but they’re drawn to PETA’s ‘naked’ campaign, and I’m proud to be a part of it.”

The 49-year-old follows in the footsteps of other celebs who have posed nude for the PETA campaign, including Pink and Taraji P. Henson.
