Sam Rockwell earned a Golden Globe for his supporting role in “Three Billboards In Ebbing, Missouri”, but more importantly he earned his father’s praise.
Supersleuth Jimmy Kimmel noticed a very peculiar comment left on an article titled “Does ‘Three Billboards’ Say Anything About America? Well…” from The New York Times.
A reader by the name of Peter Rockwell left a comment reading, “I loved this movie, and intend to see it again. My son, Sam, won a Golden Globe for playing Jason Dixon. I think I would still love the movie if another actor had played Dixon… But not quite as much.”
Yup! Sam Rockwell confirmed, “I think that’s him, I think that’s my old man,” when visiting “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Tuesday’s episode.
Rockwell, 49, is also nominated for Best Supporting Actor at this year’s Acadamy Awards for the Golden Globe-winning picture.
