Amazon Prime’s hit car show, “The Grand Tour” is taking a road trip in Canada.
Get ready for an epic face-off between Paris Hilton and Rory McIlroy as they race the new Tesla Model X.
While we won’t know who reigns supreme until the new episode airs, the pair do share their experiences crashing their first cars. “I had a [BMW] one series as my first car,” McIlroy explained. “I’d just passed my test…It didn’t go so well. I nearly actually went through the front door of the golf club. Hit a big, high curb and bent the steering axel.”
Hilton’s crash also happened to be golf related, “When I was a little girl, my grandfather had a Rolls Royce golf cart and a Bentley one, so my sister and I decided that we wanted to race them… [we] were going around the pond and of course, we were going so fast that I smashed the Rolls into this huge rock. We just totalled! We were so scared we just ran away and then later, my grandad’s like ‘where’s my Rolls? I want to go golfing right now.’”
“The Grand Tour” hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May also race, but with an Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, a Porsche Macan Turbo and a Range Rover Velar across the snowy Rocky Mountains of Western Canada.
The new episode, titled “Oh, Canada”, will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video on Friday, Feb. 9.
