At the beginning of this month, William Shatner sent out a request to his 2.25 million Twitter followers: send me your selfies.
Shatner requested fans send selfies of themselves flashing the iconic Star Trek “live long and prosper”; Vulcan salute, but didn’t explain why.
We found out on Aug. 9 when the 84-year-old actor tweeted a mosaic of his former co-star, comprised of thousands of selfies, as a tribute to the late actor.
Why did I ask for all those #LLAP selfies? For a @gishwhes task as a tribute to Leonard. Thank you! pic.twitter.com/3NQZ5siINe
