LAPD Submits Three Harvey Weinstein Sex Assault Cases To District Attorney

The Los Angeles Police Department has submitted three sex assault cases against Harvey Weinstein to the L.A. County District Attorney’s office.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles D.A.’s office confirms to Entertainment Tonight: “Three cases have been presented to our office by the Los Angeles Police Department regarding Mr. Weinstein and are under review.”

The LAPD’s three cases join two others submitted by the Beverly Hills Police Department in January, which were already being reviewed by the D.A.

Police reports have also been filed against the disgraced Hollywood mogul in New York and London.

Through his reps, Weinstein has denied the allegations against him by more than 70 women who have come forward following the bombshell Oct. 5 expose in The New York Times, including actresses Uma Thurman, Salma Hayek, Ashley Judd and Mira Sorvino.

In the wake of the scandal, Weinstein’s wife, Marchesa co-founder Georgina Chapman, filed for divorce from the producer who was also fired from his film production company and booted from the Producers Guild. Weinstein has reportedly been in treatment at an Arizona rehab facility for sex addiction since October.
