‘Bad Moms’ Coming To Television — As A Reality Show

The Fox TV network is reportedly developing a television version of the hit film franchise “Bad Moms”, with a huge unscripted twist.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, “Bad Moms” and its Christmas-themed sequel are being developed as an unscripted series that won’t have anything to do with the films’ trio of titular moms (played by Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis and Kathyrn Hahn), apparently focusing instead on real-life “bad moms.”

“There’s not too many details as of yet, but it will take the film’s premise of imperfect parents and shift the focus to real-life moms,” notes THR.

Whether the films’ stars will have any involvement in the potential TV series is unclear, but if the show does manage to make it onto the Fox schedule the name recognition should prove a powerful incentive to attract viewers; as THR points out, the two films raked in a combined $314 million at the box office.
